In this screen you configure your tournament. Most of the settings should be self self-explanatory, but I will try to explain a couple of the settings in depth.

  • Tournament title - The name of your tournament.

  • Description - Additional information about the tournament.

  • Playertype, matchtype and Start from - No need to explain...

  • All matches same format - If all matches are played in the same format (ex. best of 7 legs), tick this box and then you only have to configure the first match. Remember to tick the box before you start to set the format of the first match.

Tip! If all your matches are set matches, I recommend that you check the "All matches same format" box and then configure the first match, then uncheck the "All mathes.." box and then continue to configure the rest of the matches. Then you don't have to check the "sets" checkbox for every match, just adjust the number of sets for each round.

Click "OK" to set the configuration for your new tournament and continue to the next step.

Click the "Add players to draw" button as shown below.

    yes

In this sample we're going to use the players from the Lakeside 2007 as a sample.
Note the "bye" player in the top of the list. This player is used when the draw does not fit the exact number of players in the draw.
Example: You have a tournament with 120 players. You choose 128 players (if not divided into smaller groups) and then fill the draw
with your 120 players + 8 "bye" players. The draw must be filled 100%. If a player gets a "bye" player in the first round,
the player is automatically moved to the next round.

    yes

If you want to seed some of the players (the seeding must be at least 2 players), you must drag and drop the player into the correct position in the draw before making the random draw (if any), or if you have done the draw before creating the tournament, just drag and drop the players into the correct position in the drawsheet.
Ps ! It's not possible to drag a player beyond the first round.

The draw below shows the original draw of Lakeside 2007. We are now going to do a random draw with 8 seeded players with this draw as a base for the new setup.

    yes

To do a random draw, all spaces in the first round must be filled in by real players or a mix or real players and "bye" players. Click on the button as shown below to do the random draw.

    yes

In the left grid the original draw is shown. Next thing now is to seed 8 of the players. To seed a player all you have to do is to click the checkbox to the left of the players name (only 26 of the 32 players visible in this picture).

    yes

Ok, now we seed the top 8 players from the rankings by checking the checkbox to the left of each players name.

Let's do the draw (note that seeded players and "bye" players will stay in their posistion in the drawsheet) by clicking on the "Do random draw" button.
