The traffic on this website is very heavy during live scoring from Lakeside. Even starting Darts for Windows is slower than normal if your pc is connected to the internet. DfW checks for new versions when you start DfW and the check is done on the same server as the live score. If you are activating a DfW license, you may get a time-out error if you are activating during live scorig from Lakeside.
I am in Spain until January 15. I have a 64 kbit internet connection, but I will be out most of the day. If you buy a license, it may take longer than normal before you have access to the activation code.

The refresh interval has now been changed from 13 seconds to 20 seconds. I have also removed the visitor counter (Google analytics) to speed things up a little bit. 14.12.2011 19:15 CET Version 2.8.0.3 has been released. The 2.8.0.2 version had a bug when adding players to a draw. Because of a missing dot in a database query, the players would not load into the players window. This has been fixed in the 2.8.0.3 version.

Version 2.8.0.2 has been released. The new version contains a few bugfixes and some improvements. It is now possible to to play all legs in a set or leg match, not just "best of".

This is incredible, a record breaking number of 10.100 darts fans has been following the live scoring on www.dartsforwindows.com this weekend, but I dont think the record will last more than a month when the World Championships kicks off at Lakeside. The BDO will be using DfW for live scoring all 9 days, lets hope my web server can manage the huge number of visitors :)

I have no experience using a Mac, but it took me only a couple of hours to get DfW up and running on my brand new MacBook Pro, running OS X 10.7.2, using a opensource programme named wine.
The Darts for Windows sponsored Bridlington Premier Darts League 2011 is now completed. The database contains all the 890 matches. I would like to congratulate the winners, Steve Rice and Jim Gordon.
Darts for Windows 2.8.0.0. BETA 3 has been released. A new option, sorting of players, has been added to the beta 3 version. The sorting works on the "Match setup" screen, the "Add new players and teams" screen and "Add players" in the "Tournaments" screen. This will make it a lot easier to find the players and it will make DfW a lot more flexible.

The database contains the score sheets and stats from the stage finals + the draw sheets, completed with all the results, from the mens and womens warm up, mixed pairs, boys singles, girls singles, mens singles, womens singles mens pairs and womenas pairs.
